My name is Howard "Howie" Church, and I'm the owner of Handy Innovations, LLC.
I'm a proud husband to my wife, Lisa, of more than 25 years and a father of four amazing children. Family, service, and hard work have always been at the center of my life.
Before starting Handy Innovations, I served our nation for more than 25 years as an officer in the United States Air Force. Throughout my military career, I learned the importance of integrity, accountability, attention to detail, and putting people first. Those same values are the foundation of my business today.
After retiring from the Air Force, I was ready for a new challenge and wanted to pursue work that I genuinely enjoy. I've spent my entire life involved in maintenance, landscaping, repairs, and construction projects, and I've always found satisfaction in solving problems and helping people improve their homes and properties. Starting Handy Innovations was a natural next step.
My mission is simple: provide reliable, high-quality service with a level of professionalism and honesty that customers can trust. I believe every customer deserves personalized attention, clear communication, and workmanship that reflects pride in the job. Your concerns become my concerns, and if there's a solution, I'll work hard to find it.
I also understand that unexpected repairs and home maintenance costs can put a strain on any budget. That's why I've built my business around transparency and value. I only charge for the time spent performing the work. I don't charge for travel time or time spent picking up materials, and I provide clear pricing so there are no surprises. When it makes more sense to offer a fixed-price estimate that saves you money, that's exactly what I'll do. That's my no-nonsense approach to doing business.
